SUBMISSIONS OPEN FOR OUR
FIRST ISSUE

The Diutay Review is a journal dedicated to short poetry.

Anything up to seven lines is welcome.

Please send up to 5 poems per submission.

We accept simultaneous submissions, provided that you notify us when a poem has been accepted elsewhere.

We do not accept previously published work.

We do not accept poems generated by Artificial Intelligence.

How to submit:

1. send your poems to thediutayreview@gmail.com.
2. subject line: SUBMISSION - Your Name. Example: SUBMISSION - John Doe.
3. no attachments are allowed.
4. copy and paste your poems into the body of the email.
5. no cover letter or bio required. Following a minimalist design, the poems will be followed only by the poet's name, as written in the subject line. Example:

haiku line
another haiku line
a third haiku line
                       author's name.

6. we are accepting submissions all year round. However, please wait at least one month before submitting again.
7. we do not send out rejections. If your work is selected for publication, you will hear from us before the publication of the next issue.
8. Calendar:

Issue 1: September/2025
Issue 2: December/2025
Issue 3: March/2026

9. Let us know if you are under 18. If you are under 18 and your work is selected for publication, permission from a parent or guardian will be required.

10. By submitting your work, you agree to give us the first non-exclusive right to publish your work followed by your name in the next issue of The Diutay Review. We retain the non-exclusive right to make that work available as part of an archive. Should the poem be republished, we only ask that the author or third part publisher indicates that the poem "originally appeared in The Diutay Review".

11. By submitting your work, you also affirm that you are the owner of the work submitted and that it does not infringe the copyright or other rights of anyone.

12. Submissions are always free. Unfortunately, The Diutay Review is unable to offer payment for the authors.
